We arrived at Agra Idgah train station at 11am on Saturday 16th (on my niece Hannah's 4th birthday:))...and took a tuk tuk to our guesthouse which was situated in the Westgate i.e. a stone throw
away from the Taj Mahal. We settled in then hit the streets of Agra...and checked out the markets and the Agra Fort...Its a fascinating place where cows, horses, camels, cars, trucks, buses,
tuk-tuks and bicycles appear on the main streets which are the essential highways in Agra. The surroundings are well maintained and more built up given the amount of foreign traffic to see the Taj
Mahal. Foodwise, we tried the Aloo Malai Kofte for dinner which was superb and for breakfast the next morning we went to the Treat Restaurant which serves a "Continental Breakfast" for 25INR:)
(= 4 ZAR or 60 Rappen)

We we blown away by the Taj Mahal...an absolute must see...It was slightly foggy however still mystical and magical...a moment we will never forget...
We left Agra thereafter...however there was a serious hickup, Our train was delayed by 6hours...which was then further delayed by another 4hours. We met some Capetonians (Jane and Verna)...and
decided to board a train to Delhi that had arrived at 8pm instead of wait for our train which was apparently going to arrive at 11.30pm...We jumped in and had an awesome time with the
people...The shifted up and made space for us...shared their snacks with us, gave us gifts and took photographs with us...what an experience...:)
We are in Delhi presently and we embark to Seoul (South Korea) on Tuesday...we will keep you posted on our stay in Delhi...
PS: Thanks to you guys for your comments...we appreciated them and miss you all:)
and don't forget to check out the new pics in the
